Dear Dad:

Sorry I haven't written for a while, but I've been busy snooping around.

I think there's something weird about this house. I'm beginning to think there's more to it than just the couch and the living room.

Every night, Mom goes through this one opening and disappears! Sometimes Mackie goes there too. So the other day (during the daylight, of course!) I decided to investigate, and I inched over toward the opening. I think there are stairs there, but I haven't gotten up enough nerve to go up them. I think I might try it soon. Do you suppose it's safe?

I did discover that there's a kitchen! I think that's where our water comes from.
