Hi! I am writing from Canada. I am a groomer who had a woman come in today that had JUST put her scottie down. They put a beautiful memorium in the paper. You have a wonderful website and we really enjoyed reading the guestbook and finding all the super people who are special enough to love scotties. We have a three-year old male named Barney -- he is our third scottie in our immediate family and the fifth for me. He has been attending obedience school for all of his three years and still is pretty much at the same level -- he, being a scottie, only does what he feels is important to him -- still, all his dog friends think he is great and he occasionally w ll do what the teacher asks. He has a wonderful disposition and is very spoiled. Needless to say, we love him. Thanks again for sharing.

November, 1999 my husband and I expanded our furfamily to include Bear. He is an adorable black scottie we rescued from the dog pound and we are so glad we did. His real name is Reggie, but because he was so overweight we began to call him "Bear". We n ver had a scottie before and are discovering more about him and the breed with each day. He is still adjusting to us and nervous from his near fatal experience with the dog pound, but we are definitely seeing the real "Bear" emerge. I have enjoyed you s aring your furfamily with us.

Great homepage! Scotties. You gotta love'em.Live at 8,000ft in the mountains of New Mexico,USA.Both dogs get alot of exercise and since my consultancy practice enables me to have an office at home I'm able to spend time with both of them. Same breed, but o different in personality. Annie is the older alpha female and Jack is the younger, always a puppy, type. They bark at the wildlife(just your regular squirrels,racoons,coyotes,deer and elk), but they get very quiet when bear come around. Love to chase fo and rabbits. Healthy dogs both.

Am now no longer breeding scotties(and showing) but still have one wheaten girl (10) who is out of Ch Sandgregs SecondEdition......she is a Ch but didnt have any puppies.....I now judge the Terrier Group and all bu 5 non sporting breeds.
