DO YOU KNOW JESUS?
I know somewhere down the road, in your life, you've heard this question before. You might have said yes, You might have ignored the person, You might have thought "Oh NO!! one of those religious fanatics." But if you came to this page you must be curious???? So just take the next 5 minutes out of your day to finish reading this page. This is the most important question you'll ever be asked. You need to be able to reply, "YES, I KNOW JESUS!!!!"
What does it mean when I say "Do you know Jesus?". I'm asking if you have asked Jesus to come into your life as your personal Savior?
The Living Bible says:
" All have sinned, all fall short of God's glorious ideal" Rom 3:23
He then tells us that...
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ." Rom. 6:23
Everyone is a sinner, we would all die if it weren't for Jesus. You see...
"When we were utterly helpless, with no help of escape, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners who had no use for him. Even if we were good, we really wouldn't expect anyone to die for us, although that might be barely possible. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were yet sinners." Rom 5:6-8
You see God LOVES us so much that even though WE sinned, he sent Jesus to die for us. JESUS came, as a MAN, to earth and never sinned. Because Jesus never sinned,he could become a perfect sacrifice and once and for all, pay for All our sins. But your a good person your o.k. right? WRONG.. God says:
"With all earnestness I possess I tell You this: unless you are born again, you can never get into the Kingdom of God." John 3:3 "Anyone that believes in me[Jesus] will have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so that anyone that believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
God really loved us. I'm a Mom, and I know the thought of sending my son to die so that my other sons and daughters could live would be the hardest thing I could ever be asked to do. I don't know if I could do it. Jesus chose to do this? He didn't have to. He planned his whole life and crucifixtion[hanging on a cross, with spikes through his hand and feet, a crown of long sharp pointy thorns jammed into his forehead], so he could pay our way, through his love and death, into Heaven. He did all of that for YOU. All you have to do is...
"For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your own heart, that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing, in his heart, that a man becomes right with God: and with his mouth he tells others of his faith, confirming his salvation." Rom.10:9-10
So are you ready to accept Jesus as your savior. He is the best friend you will ever have. He hears your prayers and answers them. He gives you such joy and peace, happiness that you've never known because he's still alive and loving you as much now, as he did when he died for you. He wants to see you in Heaven someday and live in your heart, body and mind right now. You've taken the time to read this page for a reason. God has an appointment with you. He has run, with arms wide open, to you. But you have to take the last step. It has to be your choice. If you want to choose Jeseus Christ, say this prayer with me now...
Dear Jesus, I know I have sinned. I ask you, right now, to come into my life. I believe that you love me. I believe you are the son of God, who came to earth, to die for me and that you rose again, so that I could live forever and be forgiven. I want to know that when I die I'm going to Heaven. I believe that you will live in my heart forever and I thank you for forgiving and loving me so much. Help me to live the life you want me to live now. Thank You In Jesus Name AMEN..
