Guilds and Societies

Below is a sample of some of our guilds and societies. Those located outside of CLAW have links that you use to find out more about them; those located inside CLAW are in black and you will be unable to view them until you join CLAW.

1. Amazon Bookstore
   Help build and develop the CLAW branch of the Amazon Bookstore.
2. Animal Rights Guild
   In this guild you can learn more about animal rights and animal cruelty, share your opinion, write letters helping to stop animal abuse, earn service points, and have fun while you're at it! I really suggest that you become a memfur!
3. Athletes and Sports fans of CLAW
   A fun place to learn more about sports and athletics!
4. CLAW ASB Guild
   The guild is about having an ASB board for CLAW and the CLAW colleges
5. Back Seat Support Group
   Do you have a sibling at home who is always outdoing you, has more friends and you feel like you are just riding in the back seat along fur the ride?? Join this group !
6. California Kitties Society
   To learn everything about California.
7. Caught in the Act !
   This is a group for kitties who are too dependent on their humans.
8. Cats in Space
   Why would cats want to go to Space? Would it be fun, exciting and adventurous? Would it be to seek knowledge, explore new worlds, or just to get away from d*gs? How has science fiction become science, what do you need to know to be an Astrocat? Join Cats in Space, and let's find out!! Let's journey to the known and unknown worlds of the Universe together.
9. Cats Who Love Horses
   We learn about horses, tell horse stories, have horse trivia, and explore the life of a barn cat.
10. Environmental Guild
    Study Environmental issues.
11. Ethics for Cats
    Cats have ethics, just like humans. What is right and what is wrong, and why ? Discussions and talks. Get your opinions heard.
12. Fandom Guild
    Fandom guild is about fandom game which is a game where you create characters and e-mail "posts" about what is currently happening in that person's life.
13. Fantasy Guild
    This guild is devoted to fantasy in all its aspects.
14. FBI
    We deal with many queries, from a search for a relevant Internet site to missing kitties. Before joining, take the FBI class in the University.
15. Ferocious Fe-Lions
    This group offers support for declawed kitties. Visit Group
16. Friendship Guild
    Have fun in friendship.
17. Friends of the CLAW Theater
    Work to promote the theater, and to advertise its events.
18. CLAW Furship Guild
    CLAW Catizens will be helping each other and earning different Furship levels and points. The Guild's Motto is Furship Equals Friendship.
19. Debates Committee
    Come and give us your advice about impurrtant topics.
20. Greek Mythology Society
    Study and have fun with Greek Mythology.
21. Gremlin Hunters
    Hunt and kills gremlins and bugs in CLAW, running a full sweep once a month. Gremlins and bugs are such things as dead links and misspelled words.
22. Help Committee
    Gives help to CLAW members in building their home pages.
23. Histocial Society of CLAW
    Helps kitties see the impact they have had throughtout history!
24. Homepage Awards Guild
    Help pick pages for awards while learning how to create a better HTML page yourself !
25. International Cat Society
    This group is for members from all countries. Learn about customs and folklore from around the world!
26. The Joker's Society
    Read and write jokes that have to do with your life as a cat.
27. Kitchen Kats
    Interesting recipes fur discerning gourmet cats.
28. Literature and Poetry Society
    Do you like to read and to meow about what you have read ? This discussion group is for you !

38. Purring Paws Society
    The Purring Paws members will be sent the names and needs of CLAW members and their humans who are in need of purrs. They are expected to purr for these members on a daily basis.
39. Question Committee
    This committee helps cats who have questions about procedures and activities in CLAW.
40. Recruitment Committee
    This committee works to get more members into CLAW.
41. Surfin' Kitties Society
    The purpose of this group is to let kitties find and explore new cat sites on the web.
42. Supporting Your Human
    Does your human have chronic disease or chronic pain ? This group is for cats who support such humans with purrs and rubs. Please apply directly to Kitten K. Boodles.
