On February 2nd, we celebrate Groundhog Day! Well, some people do . . . especially in Punxsutawney ~ thus the name "Punxsutawney Phil". I say let the little guy sleep!!! *g*
Anyway . . . The groundhog, also known as a woodchuck, also known as a marmot, is a furry little creature who grows to weigh between 8 and 12 pounds and can be over two feet long!
Not much more to say about this holiday except if you haven't seen the movie "Groundhog Day" starring Bill Murray, race to your nearest video store and rent it! It's wonderful!

If you really want to know what the weather's going to do, I suggest you visit The Weather Channel! Here in Maine it doesn't matter if the little guy sees his shadow or not . . . we have six more weeks of winter anyway!
