JACOB STOVER
There are some who believe, that Bishop William Stover was closely related to pioneer Jacob Stover of the valley of Virginia, who went several times to Switzerland, as he was land agent for the Swiss settlers; and further, and that Jacob was possibly a son of Daniel Stover, born near Zurich, Switzerland; and that Jacob Stover had brothers Hans and Christian Stover - thus the sons of Christian Stover - Peter, Jacob Stover, and others were nephews of pioneer Jacob Stover of the valley of Virginia; but this is not a truth sufficiently verified that it is a fact approved and accepted
