| .. | MY NAME "Tikken" comes from the word "kitten," with the letters T and K flipped! BIRTHDAY & MY BREED I was born sometime in June 1994. I am a Domestic Shorthaired Cat. FEATURES As you can see, I have a black heart on my chest. I also have a half-moustache and a tiny goatee. I wear a black mask & cape, but my underside is soft and fluffy white! STATS I weigh 14.8 pounds. I am over 25 inches, from nose to tail, when I'm stretching. I am not declawed. I am a healthy neutered male. BIRTHPLACE I was born somewhere in Orange County, Southern California. I was impounded at the Orange County Animal Shelter, Anaheim, California, on September 24, 1994.  I was adopted from the shelter two days after I was impounded, by a sweet young lady who named me "Bo." Her Mom turned out to be very allergic to cats, so, she had to pack my things and take me back to the animal shelter. HOW I MET Scott & Arlynn I was in the car, waiting to be driven back to the shelter. My owner stopped at her boyfriend's workplace. This young man, made one last effort... and asked all of his co-workers if anyone would like to take me home... My Story Goes On... Nobody wanted to take me home. I knew I was going to have to return to the animal shelter. Then! Scott told him to take me directly to his apartment, so I could meet Arlynn. Scott had no clue what I looked like... |

And On... I met Arlynn and she was delighted to welcome me to their home. She and Scott had been married for only one month! I finally had a home. MY PLANE RIDE After about a year, my loving humans and I had to move to New York where Scott attended medical school. When we moved, I flew on a plane! (They had to drive cross-country!) heee hee! Now Scott's a doctor and we have moved back to sunny California. Whew! All this moving! HOBBIES I love taking naps. I love eating and rolling in catnip. I love critter-watching. (I am an indoor cat.) I love brushing Arlynn's hair with my claws. I love watching TV or listening to music with Scott. I love warm clothes, fresh from the dryer. I love going outside! FUN FACTS I walk on a leash! I have a nice leash and harness and I get lots or double-takes! Hee! I love to play fetch! My humans throw Ratso (my earless, eyeless, resilient toy rat) and I run, fetch and bring Ratso back! My humans have a special whistle- tune that I respond to. I am a fearless cat...once stood up to a Rottweiller at the vet's office! In fact, I don't just meow or hiss... I have a rumbling don't-mess-with- me growl! I practice my growling whenever the doorbell rings. THANKS... I want to take this opportunity to thank some special people... IT'S TIKKEN'S 3rd BIRTHDAY!! Tikken turned 3 in June '97...we don't know the exact date! We celebrated throughout the month of June... and the party still continues!
