The Canadian Wallingfords
According to a letter written by Edward Lewis Wallingford of Perkins, Province of Quebec, Canada on 28 August 1932, The Canadian branch of the Wallingford Family was founded by refugees from the American Revolution. A young Nicholas Wallingford was brought to Canada by his mother from Manhattan, New York. The names of Nicholas' parents have not yet been found. More Wallingfords were in Stanstead, Province of Quebec but nothing else is known of them at this time.
