Sarah E Sears married James F Shamel on 15 June 1881 in Putnam County, Indiana. James was born 10 September 1856 and died 15 November 1928 in Greencastle, Indiana. Sarah is buried in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery and James was buried in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle.

James Edgar was born 17 December 1887 in Putnam County and died 26 December 1968 in Putnam County.
Mable L was born 18 October 1897 in Putnam County.
