Welcome to the Homepage of the Lake Harmony Volunteer Fire Department. Our station is located in Lake Harmony (Carbon County), in the picturesque Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. Our department covers a 25 sq. mile area with a full-time population of approx. 2,000 people and a seasonal population of approx 22,000 people. We are automatically dispatched to all fires(except vehicle fires) in Kidder and Penn Forest Townships with Albrightsville Fire Dept., Penn Forest Twp. Stations #1 & #2, Lake Harmony Ambulance and Rescue, and Penn Forest Ambulance. Our department also covers Interstate 80 between the Carbon-Monroe County line and Exit 42. In 1997 this department responded to 183 calls.
