This is a photo of Samuel Henry Essary. He was the son of John Larkin Essary and Anna(Altom)Essary and the grandson of John AJ Altom and Mary Ann(Davis)Altom. Samuel never married and was schooled & educated in Tennessee. He was renowned for his work in agriculture and improved plant development.
