OUR NORTH CAROLINA CONNECTIONS

Haltom/Altom

Seems everytime we get our line back to possibly North Carolina and then Maryland we are dealt a handful of mixed up surnames. For the sake of discussion I have correlated information I have on possible family connections..I will attempt to type the last name spellings as they appeared on docs, but would like for you to keep an open mind and assume them to be ALTOMS and lets see what shapes up. I will mention only two cases outside of the State, and that being the two Maryland Wills. If anyone has additional information with dates to squeeze in here, please let me know.

NOTE:  At this point I feel that we are looking at William and son John from the Movarian accounts, and Wm. Jr., and Spencer being Williams younger sons, as we know that he had at least 4 children in his family by Movarian remarks, and probably more were born after that time..However, it is possible that John is a brother to William and William moved his family into the area where John was already living, although, no documents have surfaced to show that John was there at the same time, or prior to, William and family.........HELP.....
