This is my Altom line. Linda has asked me to provide my line since we have not, as of yet, found a common ancestor. I have also been researching my Quinn family for many years and would love to hear from anyone that feels we might share some of the same ancestral lines.

John was born circa1725 and died circa 1788. As of this writing do not know enough to establish others within the family other than one son, JAMES

James A. was was born on Christmas Day of 1752 in Cecil County, Maryland. He served in the Revolutionary War and after his term of service was up he married Sarah Spurlin in Guilford County, North Carolina. He and the family moved to Lincoln County, North Carolina and eventually settled in Greenville County, South Carolina, where he died on the 15th of April, 1833

Thomas B. was born circa 1798 in Lincoln County, North Carolina. He was married twice. His first marriage to Elizabeth Wood produced the first 4 children listed above and the others where by his second wife, Zela. Thomas died in 1872 in Louisville, Mississippi.
