The date is October 10, 1845 when my great grandfather John G. Kessler was born. He married Mary Katherine Yost (born 1852 died 1936) in Erie County, Ohio. These years are missing, the date grandfather came to the states, date he married grandmother. Grandfather died October 4, 1920. They had 7 children: Jacob Joseph 1880-1954, John Edward 1883-1959,Frank Teter 1886-1948, Aloysius Walter 1889-1928, Mary Josephine 1893-1964, Elenora Mitilda 1895-1954 and Julie Margaret 1901-1901.
