Her fairy tale dream, of romance and love
Was still out there somewhere,in God's plan from above
Though the years spent searching, might draw to an end
The hope never died, of her Prince He would send.

A Prince for a Princess, so gallant and wise
The Princess had waited, with hope in her eyes
Who could have known from a cyberspace start
That this Prince from so far, would steal her heart?

Their carriage his car, The King's Ball just a date
Began this fairy tale romance, each others life's mate
For to know without doubt, in a dream now come true
She was finally free, to say "I love you".

So letters and phone calls, flew over the lines
Two hearts at a distance, both beating in time
Still were the miles, between them to live
Though touching a hand, Oh a ransom they'd give.

But our Lord's prayerful children, had God on their side
Where no height nor depth, nor a distance too wide
A prayer on a wing, it happened so fast
The Prince and the Princess, together at last.

The moral of this tale, unfolds each day long
As the Prince and the Princess, share their life's song
Let go and let God, and all will be right
In their faith and their trust, as they walk in His light.

Love, Dad
This Poem was written by a very good friend of mine named "Widget" who does not happen to have a Homepage. When I read it I thought it was very good and asked him if I could put it here so other people could see his handy work..He is very talented and should get the credit of writing this touching piece to his daughter, whom he drove clear across the United States to be with her Prince. I know how hard that was for him..as distance seperates my youngest son and I..so know the heartache he felt when he had to leave his "little" girl, and go back home alone.
