JAMES OLIVE WAKE CO. NC. B-1713

James Olive was thought to have been born in England in 1713 but we have since learned that he was born in Va. In 1713. His father we have found to be William Olive who was brought here about 1703 by a man named James Franklin Jr. and worked seven years as an indentured servant (apprentice) in the trade of curing and crafting leather, James must have learned this trade from his father. James married Elizabeth (Granny) Olive, we do not know her maiden name. They had seven sons and one daughter named Rachel that we know of , maybe another but no proof as of yet. Their sons in order of birth were (1) James Jr., (2) William, (3) Southwood, (4) John, (5) Anthony, (6) Jesse, (7) Abel. I'm from Jesses line, would like to here from all Olive descendants. I have much info and may be able to help you so please don't hesitate to e-mail me with questions at satdan@aol.com
