9. Everett Daniel³ THOMAS (John Roberts⁴, William Rees⁵, Rees⁶)⁽¹²⁾ was born in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA, April 4, 1901. He died October 28, 1983 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA, at 82 years of age. Part of his ashes were interred next to his mother and grandfather in Forest Hill Cemetery in Dunmore, Lackawanna Co., PA, and part were scattered at the family farm 30 miles north in Susquehanna County.

He married Catherine Louise DAVIES in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA, October 3, 1925. She was born in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA May 29, 1902. Cath⁽¹³⁾ was the daughter of John Jenkins DAVIES and Catherine LEWIS. She died December 12, 1985 in White Bear Lake, Ramsey County, MN, at 83 years of age. Her ashes were interred in Hickory Grove Cemetery, in Waverly, Lackawanna County, PA. Cath's occupation: School Teacher, then Homemaker in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA.

Ev ran a Casualty Insurance Agency, Thomas Brothers, in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA, and managed Citizens Savings and Loan from the same office.

Everett Daniel THOMAS and Catherine Louise DAVIES had the following children:

10 i. Everett Daniel² THOMAS II was born in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA, January 27, 1927. He died February 3, 1927 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA, at less than one year of age. His body was interred in Forest Hill Cemetery, in Dunmore, Lackawanna Co., PA.
