He married twice. He married Athelia Jane GITTENS circa 1849. Athelia⁽⁸⁸⁾ was the daughter of John C. GITTENS and Margaret UNKNOWN. She died August 19, 1888 near Pocahontas, McNairy County, TN, at 55 years of age. He married Alice Lee DUPOYSTER circa 1896. She was born circa 1865. 54 ii. Mary Pricilla NETHERY⁽⁹¹⁾. She died October 17, 1877 at the Nethery Family Farm, east of Pocahontas, Hardeman Co., McNairy, TN. Her body was interred in the Nethery Family Cemetery, east of Pocahontas, Hardeman Co., McNairy, TN.

55 iii. John Tidwell NETHERY⁽⁹²⁾ was born, January 6, 1852. He died October 21, 1912 near Milan, Gibson County, TN, at 60 years of age. He married A. J. HANNA? circa 1877. She was born circa 1855. She died near Milan, Gibson County, TN.

Dr. Tid's occupation: Physician all his life. Conflicting evidence states that he died near Milan, Gibson County, TN, October 21, 1913.

56 iv. Samuel Leroy NETHERY⁽⁹³⁾ was born, January 18, 1854. He died January 19, 1909 at 55 years of age. His body was interred in the Nethery Family Cemetery, east of Pocahontas, Hardeman Co., McNairy, TN. Lee's occupation: Farmer.

57 v. Louisa Angeline NETHERY⁽⁹⁴⁾ was born, December 22, 1855. She died before 1914. Her body was interred in the Nethery Family Cemetery, east of Pocahontas, Hardeman Co., McNairy, TN. She married Dr. YOUNG.

58 vi. Franklin Thompson NETHERY⁽⁹⁵⁾ was born, May 22, 1860. He died circa 1902 in Pocahontas, Hardeman County, TN. He married Emma T. WADE in McNairy County, TN, December 24, 1882.

Dr. Frank's occupation: Physician all his life.

+ 20 vii. William Edmond NETHERY was born February 24, 1864.

59 viii. Sidney Johnson NETHERY⁽⁹⁶⁾ was born, November 14, 1865. He died December 12, 1944 in Belle Mina, Limestone County, AL, at 79 years of age. His body was interred December 14, 1944 in Athens, Limestone County, AL, City Cemetery.⁽⁹⁷⁾ He married Stella CAMPBELL in Fackler, Jackson County, AL, January 1902. She was born circa 1878. (Additional notes for Stella CAMPBELL⁽⁹⁸⁾) She died November 27, 1972 in Belle Mina, Limestone County, AL, at 94 years of age.
