She married James Hurt GAMBLE January 12, 1819. He was born in Nashville, Davidson County, TN March 8, 1791. James was the son of Edmond GAMBLE and Mary HURT?. He died March 8, 1855 at "Oak Mount", Limestone County, AL, at 64 years of age. His body was interred in the Gamble Family Cemetery at "Oak Mount", Limestone County, AL.
