Recipe Corner- Orange Steamed Carrots



Orange steamed carrots



1/2 cup orange juice
1 Tbsp. sugar
8 med. carrots, peeled and sliced
2 Tbsp butter
1 1/2 tspn parsley or dill

-Place sliced carrots in a saucepan with orange juice, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 5 minutes.


-Remove cover, add sugar, let liquid evaporate. (while stirring)


-When the last bit of liquid is gone, and the carrots are almost sticking to the pot, add butter and parsley or dill, stir and cover 5 minutes.



Tasty with grilled salmon!
