Summertime Creamy Fruit Pie
1 package (3 ounces) peach jello***
2/3 cup boiling water
2 cups ice cubes
1 (8 ounces) whipped topping
2 cups peaches or nectarines, diced***
1 graham cracker or vanilla wafer pie crust, 9 inches
In a large bowl, dissolve jello in boiling water,
stirring for 1 minute. Add ice cubes and stir until thick,
about 3 minutes. Remove any unmelted ice cubes.
Blend in whipped topping; add fruit.
Pour into pie crust; chill 3 hours.
Makes 8 servings.
