This is the family outline of Keith Owens (picture is of
Keith and wife Marilyn). The chart starts with his
great-great-grandfather Green Owens (little information is known
at this date on him or his wife Elizabeth Roberts). Wiley
Owens is the great-grandfather then Arthur (Boots) Owens is the
grandfather. Wiley's children are listed but information is
scarce on some of them.
I know there are a lot of the Owens lineage still in the
southwestern Missouri area, If you see this page and are
descendants of the Owens line please contact me. I would love
to add the other lines of Wiley's children. I also have a
listing of another Owens line that came from the Washington
County, Missouri area and later moved to the Baxter area of
Table Rock Lake. This Owens lineage is connected by marriage to
my Owens line through the Taylor family. If you would like to

Every year a drawing is taken for a die-cast
1923 Chevy delivery van bank, commemorating the reunion. The drawing went to Christina Brown for the year 2005.

We lost a vital member of the family in 2000, Wayne Owens, and then another in 2004, Robert Owens.
The group above is from the 2005 Reunion. From left to right back row Jeff, Jim, Edward Lee, Bill, and Keith Owens. Front row left to right is Donna Bowman, Patricia Tiffen, Debra Knight, and Glenda McGrew. Sonya Hiller is absent from the photo but was at the reunion. This was the first reunion we had after the death of Robert Owens in 2004. Because of the distance each of us lives from each other it is seldom that we can all get together.

Owens Family ReunionThe day was enjoyed by all with a picnic style lunch and cool drinks. The temperature was wonderful for the month of June, it was a great day for a picnic. The kids found the river to be quite refreshing, and they also enjoyed the hiking trails, playground and streams that the park offers. Some of the families that made it down last year couldn't make the trip this year. We want you all to know that we missed you and hope you make it back next year. We really missed having Millie Owens and her side of the family and Opal June's family. Wayne's family was really missed this year but we understand and hope to see everyone next year. several of the ladies are great with child and the next reuion will probably have 5-6 new additions. Thanks to all the families that made the day an event to remember. |

Owens Family Reunion InformationThe Owens family would love to have you
attend the annual reunion, the reunions are usually
held at the Roaring River State Park again. We love that place. The date
will be set a little later in the year and will probably a weekend in June again.
We would love to have all attend and visit. Bring your family
information and pictures for the "tree" and any correction
that you may have or additions. If you find you can't make it to the reunion
drop one of the members a note and bring us up to date on the last year with your family, the events, marriages, births, and deaths.
We will read the note at the gathering for all to hear.
