Lansdown also holding Keith Owens.
The pictures were taken at the Monett City Park, Monett,
Missouri, at a family reunion, 1949. The family chart begins
with Emmitt Lansdown and descends to the grand-son of Keith
Owens).
If you are a Amos or a Lansdown and your can help me add to this
chart I would appreciate it very much. The Amos family has a
reunion every year in Monett about the same time the Owens' have
their reunion, usually around Father's Day. To see more about

name of my mother and I have very little information on the
family. I do know that the Lansdown lineage came from TN or KY
and that about 37-40 of the family all packed up and moved west
together. Great-grand mother Bea Lansdown told me that they
made it to the Purdy , Missouri area and decided that this was
the land for them, they homesteaded and went no further west.

This is a five generation picture taken at the Monett City
Park, 1949. Pictured front row is Emmitt Lansdown (left) and
Bert Lansdown, holding Keith Owens, back row left to right is
Marie Amos (Lansdown), and mother of Keith Owens, Enid Owens
(Amos).

This picture was taken at the same time, 1949, but was the
five generation lineage of John Simpson. Frnt row left to right
is Bea Lansdown (Simpson), and father John Simpson. Again,
Keith Owens is being held by great-grand-parent. Rear row is
Enid Owens and Marie Amos. In the early 50's the Amos,
Lansdown, Jagears, Owens families all gathered at the park for
the yearly reunions. The Owens and the Amos families still have
reunions but they are held separately.
