Like I said I am married and my hubby's name is Rick. He is my soulmate. We
have been married 7 years, Our aniversary is July 3rd..(boy did
we have fireworks that forth of July. Ha Ha). I was widowed just over 9 years ago.
The husband that died was my children's father. So Rick is their stepdad and a
terrific one at that. He loves the kids as if they were his own. He is 48 years old, (His birthday is Feb. 7th.)
and has no children of his own. He is a welder for a local union.
I have 2 children, Matt & Amanda.
Matt is now 19 years old. He will turn 20 on March 7th.
He is a Sophmore in The Restuarant School in Phila. He will be studing Restaurant Management (He wants to be a Restaurant or Hotel Manager when he finishes school). He lives in the Dorm at school and only comes home on occasion. He is 5'9" tall (or maybe a little taller by now..not sure..he does his best to keep his distance..typical teen ..LOL) and
has brown hair, and blue eyes.
He loves the drums and has his own set.
He would like
to be a professional drummer someday.
Amanda is 14 years old. She turned 14 on Sept. 15th.(OH NO!!! I have two teens !!!) She is in the 9th
grade in High school. In 5th grade she played the flute, For the past several years,
she was in the school choir and she was in many other clubs in school..This year so far anyway, she is in the Color Guard and seems to like it, she is always smiling and for the most part happy ( I hope that this stays through the teen years) She is 5'4" tall and has blonde hair and
blue eyes. She wants to be alot of things when she grows up..
so time will tell. She loves going to the school dances and is a real
social buttterfly. She also works as a volunteer at the local aminal shelter. She loves Animals. Most of all she wants to be a Vet.
I am a lucky person, both kids are usually good..they do have thier bad
days..but for the most part they are really good. Now you can also see what we all look like.. see below!
We also have several pets...2 dogs, 8 kittens, a tank full of tropical fish. The oldest dog is an 9 year old female, all black with some graying around her mouth, she is a Cocker Spanial, chow-chow, and Black lab mix, she is very well trained and a great pet. Her name is "Velvet". The younger dog is a 1 year old male named "Prince", he is a real cutie and such a love bug..but also a brat, he likes to chew anything he can get his mouth on, we adopted him from the shelter where Mandy volunteers.He is a sheppard, Husky mix and is getting to be a pretty big dog. Three of Kittens are just over a year old and all from the same litter.. their names are Mittens (Male-Black & White), Muffin (Female-Calico) and Marble (Female-Tortoiseshell)..The next baby kitten is about 10 months old...a little girl..gray and white..we named her "Munchkin".. Next came "Moose" he (a Male) is all black with darker black stripes is about 9 months old, and last but not least is "Major" he (also a male) is a long haired domestic, with gray and white patches,he is about 10 months old, he is a very sweet cat, he loves to cuddle and be on your lap all the time.The last two kittens are named Magic and Mischief, both males, and they are brothers. Magic is long haired and all black, and Mischief is short haired and all gray, they are about 5 months old. We adopted them from the shelter too...after we had to put our 17 year old cat to sleep...she was a very sick kitty...and we loved her very much. The kittens are a great distraction and so very loveable. And the tank of fish of course..well they all have names too thanks to Mandy..but there are too many to name them all...so see below for pictures of the dogs... and the kittens...and soon I will add the fish!!
