EVENT Jan 5 Mr. Fred Morita and Dr. Clyde Tamaru will give a presentation on developing desired traits in livebearers through genetics.
Feb 2 Mr. Robert Lau will give a presentation on aquatic plants with photos of his personal aquarium setups. Mr. Lau is responsible for the beautiful aquascapes at Petland Kahala.
Mar 2 HAS member, Guy Kmett, and a fellow Koi Club member will give a presentation on the history of koi (carp) and the different types of koi that have evolved throughout the centuries through selective breeding.

Jun 1 Annual(?) Swap Meet .. bring your aquarium related things down to the meeting to sell. One person's junk is always someone else's treasure.
Jul 6 Discussion Groups will be set up on various topics. Feel free to drop in on any of the groups to learn new things and participate in the discussion.

Dec 8 (Tentative Date) Annual Christmas Party - this replaces our general meeting ... great food and many door prizes!!
