Coleman Family History

I have had a few suggestions about my homepage and I have to admit I didn't make it easy for you to read so I will change it somewhat. This is my COLEMAN kin and I'm looking for anyone that can connect themselves to this family or any of their spouses. Thank you.

Thomas Edward COLEMAN 1857-1905 was a soldier in the India war. He married Mary Ann FARRELL, (she had a brother named John FARRELL) I believe children all born in or around Saint Leonard, Middlesex (London); also think that Mary Ann FARRELL was originally from Ireland, Co. of Longford seems to be a FARRELL breeding ground, anybody know?

Some new info that I have found: Thomas Colemans' wife, Mary Ann died very young and he remarried and the second wife who did not want to take care of the children so they were sent to a childrens' home in London, England called the MacPherson Home and then eventually sent to a similar home in Canada called the Marry Organization near in Atwood, near Stratford, Ontario. I don't know if they all went together or separately or what year; I am getting this info soon. Thomas and his second wife had one child that I know of and that is Charles.

*James Edward b. Dec. 26, 1883 d. Nov. 25, 1963; birth certificate states: Sub-district Saint Leonard County of Middlesex, in England, address was 16 Long Street.

*Maud (married HEWITT)

*John Wilford b. Jan. 31, 1893 d. March 10,1991. Immigrated to Canada abt 1902 on a Polish freighter called the TANISHIA???(not too sure about this name, anyone have any info on this?) He married Olive ? and lived the most part of their lives in Pickering, Ontario.

*Ann (married 1. DAVIS & 2. CHATTERLY)

*Charlie COLEMAN, a stepbrother

James Edward married Edith DAY b. Aug. 23, 1885 d. Aug. 23,1949 (formerly Mrs. Henry MAIDLOW) she had a boy and a girl from previous marriage, names may have been Alf or Alfred and Ella. Ella married Fred HUBBARD and they had at least one daughter named Grace who married Bill CARR.

Roy COLEMAN m. Annie Martha KLISCHEWSKI (b. May 17, 1913 in East Gunsburg, Russia moved to Germany at age 3) on Nov. 8, 1948. (Brought her from Germany while serving in the second WW.

Roy and Annie COLEMAN have two children:

*Mark Richard b. March 9, 1950 in Port Arthur, ON

*Karin Edda b. April 29, 1952 in Winnipeg, MB Old Grace Hosp.

Mark COLEMAN m. Tammy Lynn LUNDY Oct. 4, 1980, divorced in 1988

Karin COLEMAN m. Larry Joseph PIERCE Oct. 4, 1969, divorced June 15, 1977. They have two children.

Karin's two children:

*Penny Rose b. June 8, 1970 in St. Cath., ON General Hosp.

*Larry Richard b. June 27, 1971 in St. Cath, ON General Hosp.

*In 1984, the children legally changed their surname to COLEMAN and Larry Richard now goes by his middle name of Richard.

Karin remarried on July 20, 1996 to Clint Gerald PERRIN who has two daughters from a previous marriage.

Norman Edward COLEMAN married Dorrie, children: *James; Norman's son from first marriage

Ina Grace COLEMAN married Carl DIENER; children:

*William; married Jillian and they have two children.

Ella MAIDLOW (or COLEMAN) married Fred HUBBARD; children:

*Landon Spencer Alexander GILLARD b. June 5, 1998 in Calgary, AB Peter Lougheed Hospital

this site is not complete but I am slowly updating it. Just waiting on some new info being sent to me..I am looking for anyone who can connect with this family or a family that has married into COLEMAN or if anyone can enlighten me on how to fill in the missing pieces.
