Zion observed the super high power and ability of Earth Federation's
Gundam in the war, so she developed a lot of new mobile suits and mobile armor to try to
overcome it's power. At the end of the One Year War, they developed the last mobile armor
called "Zeong". Zeong's design was based on the Elmeth, MSN-08, which was
especially designed for the New Type use. This mobile armor had a safety design for the
pilot as like as Gundam, its head could separate from the main body to continue the combat
or escape. Char Aznable used this mobile armor to finish the final combat with Amuro Ray
who was the pilot of Gundam. Both of the Gundam and Zeong were completely damaged in the
final war. However, Zeong was not completely finished at that time, it only finished about
80% of the total. That showed that Zeong had the potential to overcome Gundam. |
