Bill and I spent a week in New Orleans in April of 1994, visiting family and attending the New Orleans Heritage Jazz Festival. If you can make it to the Jazz Festival, I'd highly recommend it. It features a myriad of artists playing everything from jazz to rock to blues to gospel. The food at the Jazz Fest is always great, and selections range from seafood gumbo to johnnycakes to po'boys to jambalya. All are excellent!
