CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Kathleen Ann Gressel and Dr. Todd Edward Simo were united in marriage May 2 in the First Presbyterian Chapel in Virginia Beach, Va. The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Myra Gressel of Chesapeake. The bridegroom is the son of Edward and Janice Simo of Stillwater, Minn. The maid of honor was Jennifer Maxwell of Bethesda, Md., friend of the bride, and the best man was Shawn Arledge of Chesapeake, Va., friend of the bride. The flower girl was Nicole Moynihan, also of Chesapeake, niece of the bride. David Cox and David Moynihan, both of Chesapeake and both brothers-in-law of the bride, served as ushers. A reception was held at the Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel in Virginia Beach, Va with out-of-town guests from the Ilion area, Minnesota, Illionis, California, Colorado and Texas. The bride is a graduate of Herkimer County Community College and works for Tidewater Inn Management in Virginia Beach. The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at River Falls and the University of Minnesota College of Medicine. He is employed by the Navy.
