1998 U.S. Nationals, Rantoul, IL - We're fortunate to be hosting the U.S. National Hot Air Ballooon Championships right here in Illinois this year. This site will keep you posted with details.

Balloon Association of Greater Illinois - includes a list of events in our area, as well as profiles & photos of members and their balloons.

If you appreciate good photography, and balloons are your favorite subject, visit the home page of the Kodak Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. The quick-to-load "Gallery" pages show thumbnails of some great shots, which can be viewed full-size with only a click! Did you know that the Fiesta is the most-photographed event in the world each year?

Launch-Net is a nicely designed and easy-to-navigate site, where you can get all sorts of good info, from how to find a pilot, to how to earn a license and much more. A really good resource, without lots of technical jargon.

Balloon Life is a monthly magazine, available in both the traditional and electronic form. Check it out for interesting articles on all aspects of the sport.

Balloon Federation of America - The organization which sanactions ballooning events in the United States is open to pilots, crew, observers, and friends of the sport. Their site features an events listing so you can find out how to observe balloons in your area, membership information, and more.

The World of Commercial Ballooning - If you're interested in how people can make a living with ballooning (it ain't easy), or if you own a business and are curious about the feasibility of using a balloon as part of your promotional strategy, this is the place to visit.

The Adams Family Hot Air Balloon Team - Meet a "family" of balloonists from the Southwest, and get a humorous and affectionate look at how much fun ballooning can offer. A super site!

Cybercheer Electronic Greetings - Why an electronic postcard site here? Because they have six free e-cards featuring balloons ... a dragon, polar bear, peacock, and others! Simply register and send!
