This is the Jenkins Family Page and, as you may expect, we are about to say something about the Jenkins Family.

We live in San Antonio, Texas, on the Web and most importantly, In Heaven. Keith and Pat have been married for almost thirteen years and are terribly in love with one another. There are, as you can see in the picture, a total of seven of us. Keith is the father of the family, Patricia is the mother. The children are Deborah (21), Shraddah (11), Joshua (9), Micah (8) and Levi (6). Since we have only been married for so long, it probably comes as no surprise that Deborah is the fruit of a previous union.

Pat is an administrative assistant for the private school of a local Jewish center while Keith homeschools the children and does computer work from their home.

Pat and Keith were both raised in the Lutheran church and have had extensive experience in many other church organizations ranging from Methodist to Pentecostal. We serve wherever God wants us and we have learned that God doesn't always want us to stay put. When asked (especially by someone in the world) what religion we are, we answer, "Christian". This usually gets a response of, "No, I mean, are you Catholic, Presbyterian, Methodist, . . . you know?" To which we have learned to reply by saying, "We are Born Again Christians, currently worshipping at a (fill in the blank) church."

We are currently worshipping at Seacroft Baptist Church (San Antonio) and have been there for nearly three years. Before that we were part of the paid ministry staff of a local Lutheran church, were we served as missionaries and teachers. You see, we are not flakes or church-hoppers. We are serious.

Keith has completed the first phase of training (Certificate of Basic Biblical Studies - 2 years) at International Bible College, and hopes to return shortly to wrap up the rest of the four year program. IBC is an excellent school with a reputation for excellence and a heart for world wide missions such as few can match. They have been training people to better serve the Lord in life for over 50 years. Our pastor, Mario Ramos, said to me once, "I am really very surprised at the school. They really do have you guys doing seminary level work and with a real loving regard for the Word." I was pleased to hear that coming from our pastor. Anyway, we strongly recommend that every growing Christian attend IBC for at least a year (if possible) so that they can get a greater foundation in the Word under them. The first year is full of sound basics with which very few would argue. Two semesters of the Life of Christ, Two of the Pentateuch (that's Genesis - Deuteronomy), and one semester each of Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey, Prophecy, Personal Evangelism, Where We Got the Bible, and much more. It really is a great way to learn to defend your faith and spread the Gospel. Their number is 210 434-5541 and I strongly recommend giving them a call. Who knows, even if you can't make it to IBC, they may know someone who can help in your area. We could all use a bit more strengthening in the Word.

Hopefully, after completing IBC, Keith will be accepted to Dallas Theological Seminary, but that is a bit far away to promise, and James reminds us not to make promises on our future expectations.

If you are a Saved visitor, we hope that this site will be of service in strengthening your faith. If you are an unsaved visitor, Please, start at the beginning (Home) and work your way through everything. It may prove to be the best investment in time that you ever make. I don't say that as a way of bragging, but simply to point out the importance of what is at stake. You are the single most important thing we can think of at this time and the subjects we will cover are the single most important ones you will ever have to address. By all means, ask us any questions you may honestly have by clicking on my copyright link and we will get a response back to you as soon as possible. And if for any reason we don't get back to you within 72 hours, with at least an initial and cursory response, please re-send your questions.

Yours in Christ,

Keith and Pat and Family
