I want to express my sincere thanks to all of you that have helped me gather so
much data on my family, both direct lines and collateral. I know that there is
no way I can express my gratitude, but I do want to make sure that you know I
give you credit.
To ROBERT ADAMS GAEBLER Thank you so very much for the
wonderful book you wrote "Adams Family Descendants of John Adams and
Elizabeth Nailor of Charles Co., MD…" and creating the "map" which I have been
trying to follow and fill in documentation. I am trying to keep the torch burning
bright!
To SANDY ADAMS for her confidence in my being able to create a second page
for my web-site without deleting my whole site (I did that once!). I am so glad you
found your connection in the Adams tree and thank you for sharing the data you
sent me. I hope we will meet in ’99 and really create some excitement on new
discoveries for both of us! I have thoroughly enjoyed having you as a new friend and
a new cousin!
To SUE JONES, as well as Robert and Sandy, my profound thanks for all of
the data you have sent me on the Adams branch of the family. I will try to get
everything posted and added to my web-site just as quickly as I can.
To JAMES M. ROBINETT, better known to most of us as "Cuzin’ Jim," a
fine man who will be missed by many, but will be watching all of us from up above.
Jim was the compiler and publisher of "Allen Robinett and His Descendants in
America" a 33 volume set of books on the Robinett family. It took many years of
hard work and dedication to put all of that data together and I appreciate it so very
much. I hope that we can all work together to make the volumes Jim started even
bigger as we contribute our data to them…not only names and dates, but stories as
well. I also thank Jim for being a founding father of the Robinett Family
Association and all the wonderful work they do for our Robinett families gathering,
displaying, and sharing information on our ancestors and descendants too.
To my sweet cousin KRIS RICHEY for her big heart and sharing all of her
wonderful discoveries on the Taylor, Adams and Foster branches of our family. I
hope someday we can find our Great great great grandfather Ebenezer’s parents (he
is one of our brick walls!). Together we follow fact and intuition to chip away at that
wall.
To newly discovered cousin CONNIE BARDEY who has given me so much
data on the Conner family…most of it new for me and some of it confirming what I
already had. May we join forces in the future and expand our knowledge even more.
I sure am glad she has her computer now.
To BOYCE MORGAN SR., SHEILA STUDDARD, KELLY
MEDARIS, and countless others that have helped me gather data on the
Onbey/Owenby/Owenbey/Ownbey and the Massingill/Massengale, Green, and
Bookout families and get them all connected where they are supposed to go. Without
Kelly, I never would have been able to connect my former husband’s
great-great-great grandmother, Mary "Polly" McDaris, with her parents.
To JEWELL CULBERSON, BELINDA HARRIS, FRED &
WANDA PRICE, and many others who have helped gather data on my first
husband’s elusive Morrow/Marrow family. I hope that some day we can find some of
the many missing links in our family and the proof to back them up.
To all of you that have helped me build a database on President Zachary Taylor…I
hope to get a searchable site up as I have on my own tree so we can all benefit from
the data and hopefully find our missing link.
To all of you that I have missed acknowledging by name, my profound apologies. Please let me know and I will gladly add your names if you would like. For all of those to come in the future…I thank you in advance.
