This quilt is based on a technique by Margaret Miller in her book Strips That Sizzle. Made with all cotton fabric and quilted with metallic thread. This quilt depicts the ups and downs of life ... the prosperous green vegetation that is plentiful where I live, contrasted with the dull grey days of rain.
Accepted into the Pan Pacific Quilt Show and Conference in Hawaii and the Quilt and Sewing Fest at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as part of the Quilts of the Pacific Rim exhibit.
