Maurice Cox
Our pastor is a native to this area, and Janice, his wife for 27 years, also is a local resident. They have two grown children, and one grandchild. Our pastor has been involved in the ministry for nearly fifteen years, and is willing to minister to any spiritual needs you have.
About Our Church
Norfleet Baptist Church is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention. We have two part-time staff members who specialize in Music and Youth Ministry. We have been a church for 35 years. We began as a mission from the First Baptist Church of Raytown. Although we have no official creed, we use the Baptist Faith and Message for our guide to doctrine and to what we believe and teach about God's Word. We believe that God's Word is absolute truth and is profitable for each person to look at for finding life's meaning and purpose.
