Here is a poem from an excellent book entitled Cat Angels
He meets the cats at heavens door
And bids them enter, rich or poor.
He welcomes them with arms spread wide
Then bends close to them, once inside.
And says to them, "It's heavens law:
You do not hiss, show teeth, or claw.
For mice and bird, 'tis heaven too.
You don't give chase, you don't say 'boo!'
Most cats regard Him long and well
And say, "I'd rather go-"
Ah, well!
