Serenity blooms in the Garden
Morning Song by @Marty Bell
Welcome to my Herb Garden!
Herbs are the most popular plants
in todays gardens.
They are very easy to grow,
require very little care, thrive hardy,
and will grow in just about any kind of soil,
in full sun, part shade, are heat tolerate,
can grow in containers, hanging baskets,............
Alot of homegardeners landscape with Herbs.
Herbs are plants used for culinary, medical purposes,
also for dyes, insect repellent, and their scents.
There are soo many ways
to use Herbs. I couldn't
even list them all!
Most herbs can be started by seed
6-8 weeks before planting time
or started right in the garden at
planting time.
My Herb Garden was once
part of my Vegetable garden,
but the more Herbs I started to get,
the more my Vegetable Garden
looked like a flowerbed!
Now my Herb Garden
is extended off of my
Vegetable Garden
and is probly half the size
of the veg,. garden and
getting bigger every year!
I use some of my herbs to make mint tea,
and for spices, the flowers for drying in craftts.
This year I will try to make the Vinegar,
and MAYBE Mint Jellies.
The Herb Garden has attracted
various wildlife and I just love
watching everything that comes
to it.
It also takes care of itself.
(I just have to keep the
mints undercontrol).
The plants are never bothered
by insects as some
are a natural insecticide.
My Herb Garden is always
abuzz with Bees,
Hummingbirds, Butterflies,
and I sometimes think
I see Fairies in there Too!
The songbirds love The Echinechia,
and theThistle.
In the Spring as I watch all
of the Herbs come back
it brings wonderful memories
of the previous years of
just relaxing out by it.
In the Fall and Winter ,
I dry the herbs and
make crafts with them.
