JIFFY CAKE

This cake (or cobbler) is quite simple to make. It is a special request of my family when we are on camping trips. My family especially likes apple pie filling with spice cake. Cherry pie filling with chocolate cake is good, too.

1 can (20 ounce) fruit pie filling, any flavor
1 box Jiffy (one layer size) cake mix, any flavor
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) melted butter
*Optional Toppings
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup shredded coconut

Spread pie filling onto bottom of 8" x 8" pan.
Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over top of fruit.
Drizzle melted butter over cake mix.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 - 60 minutes.
Top will be slightly moist.
Best served warm.
Makes 4 - 6 servings.
