PAULIST MISSIONARY SPONSORSHIP

Have you ever considered helping people in poorer countries. The Paulist Missionaries work among the poor in Peru', Pakistan and the Philippines. To be able to run their projects they need your generous help.

For AU$ 5.00 (five Australian dollars) per month, you can help in the upbringing of a child in Pakistan or Peru' and enable them to have a proper childhood and a brighter future. It is vital that these children from poor families be given the opportunity to study. Many children have benefited greatly from this programme, and with your help, many others will also benefit in the future.

For AU$ 5.00 (five Australian dollars) per month you can also help to relieve the suffering and improve the lifestyles of women in Pakistan. Miriam Bugeja, a Maltese lay missionary in Pakistan for the last 20 years, works tirelessly to help the poor, especially women, who have been treated very unjustly. With Miriam's help they are rehabilitated and given the opportunity to be re-united with their families.

You can also offer to sponsor Paulist Missionary students, studying for the priesthood in Pakistan or Peru'.

1. Your sponsorship would involve donating AU$ 5.00 (five Australian dollars) a month which can be paid monthly, 3 monthly, 6 monthly or yearly.
2. You are under no obligation to continue if your circumstances change.
3. Since the money is being sent directly to the Paulist Missionaries overseas, no money is lost in charges or fees.
4. Cheques should be made payable to the
   "Missionary Society of St Paul" and posted to
   "Missionary Sponsorship,
   c/o St. Bernadette's Prebytery,
   59B Westmoreland Road,
   North Sunshine VIC 3020
   Australia".
   Alternatively the payment may be handed to one of the Paulist Missionaries in a sealed envelope clearly marked with your name, "Missionary Sponsorship" and the amount enclosed. A recept will be issued for each donation.
