Thomas was born in 1815 in South Carolina. He may be the son of John Eskew and Elizabeth Graves Eskew but there is no direct evidence to support it. They lived in the same county in the 1860 census and John also was a wagon maker. On Sept. 23, 1836, Thomas married Elizabeth King in Blount Co. In 1850 he lived in Franklin Co., Alabama. By 1860 he lived in Blount Co., Alabama. Census schedules for Thomas' family. Thomas was a wagon maker. Thomas died after 1860; he was 45. |

Elizabeth was born in 1815 in Kentucky. On Sept. 23, 1836, Elizabeth married Thomas Eskew in Blount Co., Alabama. In 1850 she lived in Franklin Co., Alabama. She likely died by 1860 when she does not appear in the census with Thomas and family. |
