Westie Timy
Let me introduce our dog Westie Timy who is now nearly one year old. He
became a member of our family on 13th January. Since that time he has learned
a lot of new things. In two days he understood that he has to sleep in
his own bed. It takes about two month to teach him to be cleany. Later
he discover that everytime he will bark in front of the door we will take
him out and he abused it. He barked always when he heard that some other
dog in our block of flats was going to a walk.
desires and limits
Because he is not allowed to go to the living-room he used to lay on the
threshold with his head on the parqueted floor of the living-room. We didn't
want to give him what we eat not even when we are eating in the kitchen
but it is not possible when he stares at you all the time you are eating
so sometimes he got something and he's a bit spoilt in this way. Normally
he eats three times a day. In the morning he has oatsflakes with milk,
about three o'clock p.m. he has rice with some meat and vegetables and
in the evening some special dry fodder for puppies, but we are going to
give him only twice a day when he will be a year old.
good and bad
Timy is a very sociable dog. He likes people in the same way as dogs. He
loves walking with the other dog or walking at all. In fact he is quite
obediant, because he is very clever and he knows very well what you want
him to do. But when he meets another dog - his friend -there's hardly any
chance that he will obey you. He has an indulgence in bikes, motobikes
and cars and he often persecutes them. We are very worried about it, because
it's very dangerous but we don't know what to do with it. It seems to be
stronger than he is. He also gets excited because of skaters and runners.
On the other hand he is very good dog, he loves children and games with
them. He is able to wait for you in front of the shop or under the table
in the restaurant in case that there isn't any other dog. He's also able
to be alone at home but not for a long time. Sometimes he is very bored
and he entertain yourself by biting some boots or by tearing something.
He has done various damages during his short life. He has destroyed some
shoes, books, toys etc.

In fact he is a very noisy dog. He barks at home because of the sounds
from the street and on the walk he barks at everything unknown for him.
he barks more in the evening when it's dark, because in the darkness everything
seems to him to be unknown and that's why dangerous. It seems that Timy
is not very brave dog but in a row he dares attack much bigger dog than
he himself is.
always in high spirit
At the end I want to say that I don't know such a sweet dog as he is. He
is not moody as we people are, he's always in high spirits, always prepared
to play with you and he is the happiest member of our family when you came
home (even if you were out for a minute).
Today's experience: During the walk he was barking and jumping at
kites.
