2 Tiimothy 2:15 "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
"Colossians 3:12-13 "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.">
Let met tell you a little about myself and my family. First, I am married to a wonderful husband named Jack. Between us we have seven children. That's right, seven!
Michelle is our eldest and is my husband's first born.. She is 33 and divorced. She has a beautiful daughter named Crystal who turned 11 last May. Michelle was a rubella baby and as a result she has a severe hearing impairment. She does hear somewhat with hearing aids. Michelle graduated as the valedictorian for her class. We are very proud of her and all that she has accomplished. She has endured a lot of trials but she always stays strong. She accepted the Lord as her Savior in August of 98. Crystal is as smart as they come. She memorizes everything and loves to sing and spell. I think she will excel far above most her age...(OK, the gramma in me is talking here!) Michelle went to a business school so she could learn how to type and work on computers. She graduated at the very top of her class (#1) and won several awards. Her teachers loved having her and she really inspired the class. The week after she was out of school she went on a couple of job interviews and got hired right away.
.
The next one in line is Kacie. She is my first born daughter. She lives here in Arizona. She is 32 and has four children. Becca is 14, JP is 12, and Kim is 10. She had a surprise almost three years ago and Boo was two this past April . She lives about 15 miles from me. She is married to Jay. Kacie is a stay at home mom. Both she and Jay felt it was best for the kids. (Grandma agrees!) The kids are doing very well in school. Becca is at an age where she is discovering boys. YIKES I AM NOT READY FOR THAT!!!
After that we have Angie who is 31, my husband's second child. She is married to Danny and they have 2 little girls, ages 9 and 6. They live in Santa Cruz, CA. We tease Angie by telling her we think she has some major stock in AT&T Long Distance because she calls us several times a week. (But we love it as she is always keeping us posted with the girlslatest achievements! ) We sure would love it if they would move to Arizona! (HINT! HINT!) We miss them and wish we could get out there again soon. Can't wait till we go back.
Then we have CJ my second child.. She is 30, married to a great guy and they have two boys ages 6 and 8. CJ had another child but she drowned in a swimming pool when she was 2 1/2 years old. This August, 6, 2006 it will be 12 years since she went home to Heaven. We miss Christy but we know she is in a better place. (You can learn more about Christy by reading my personal testimony, "MORE THAN CONQUERORS")
Next in line is Adam, who is age 25 and my third born. Adam is a sports nut. It doesn't matter what sport it is...if it's on TV, he has to watch it. He was very active in sports until a few years ago when he over extended his knee and did major damage. He had to have surgery so he is out of sports now. Check out his web page to see his crazy hair-do. (Mom made him cut it...)
UPDATE 1/21/04Adam has his own house with a couple of roomates. He has discovered tattoos and his body is covered. My favorite is the heart with the word "MOM" on it. He is still single and seeking God's will for his life.
Next in line is
Jack Jr. He is 24. He is my husbands youngest child. Jack is a musical genius. Any instrument he picks up he can play! He is amazing on the guitar and plays in a band. His dad and I are amazed at how much he has grown and matured. Jack moved to Santa Cruz a few years back and we miss him so very much. He met and fell in love with my future daughter-in-love Megan. She is just so wonderful and we approve of Jack's choice very much. Now if they would JUST GET MARRIED!!!
Finally, we have Sandy. She is my youngest and turns 24 in September. (Wait...how did that happen???) She has long, THICK, curly brown hair that is just beautiful. She's pretty and smart but of course, she doesn't think so. Sandy has two beautiful little girls ages 19 months and five months. They live at home with my and my hubby while their Daddy is away. The girls bring so much joy to my life. Playing with them at night is the highlight of my evening and Sandy is a great mom. She does a great job with both girls.
Well, that is the family. Always changing, always exciting, and never boring!
