The Light

If there was
too much perfection
within my life,
I'd not notice
the dove of correction,
lightening strife;
Darkness making way
for the Light.
Appreciation,
of all re-creation,
Would not be mine
in the sands of Time.
The Light forever
shines through the darkness.
It is not severed,
by those that are heartless.
Nor is the Light measured
like the uneven scales
of justice, but is treasured ...
... for the Light never fails.
