END OF THE RAINBOW ONION RINGS 1½ cup + 2 tbs (13 oz) beer 1 tbs baking powder 1 tbs seasoned salt 1 egg 1½ cup all-purpose flour oil for deep frying 1 lg Spanish onions, cut into 1/4-1/2 inch slices Combine beer, baking powder, salt and egg in large bowl. Gradually add flour to form loose paste. Heat oil to 375°. Fry in batches, do not crowd.
