SPINACH SPREAD
1 pkg (10oz) frozen spinach, thawed and drained
1 can water chestnuts, drained
1 cup mayonnaise
1 box (1.4oz) Knorrs vegetable soup mix
1¼ cup sour cream
1 c shredded Cheddar cheese
1 loaf party rye bread
Preheat oven to 375°. Place spinach in large mixing bowl. Chop
water chestnuts finely. Add water chestnuts, mayonnaise, soup mix,
sour cream and cheese to spinach. Mix well. Spread on party rye
slices and bake for 10-12 minutes. This is also great cold and served
with crackers.
