I am now 4 months pregnant, and it is begining to show. I feel much better - the nausea seems to have subsided completely, and I feel full of beans! We have lots to do in the house before number two arrived so I have been getting on with the DIY. I spoke too soon.... there has been a rush on at work and I did some overtime, as well as trying to juggle being a mum and a wife and I have suffered for my trouble. Unfortunately I have started being terrably sick again.

It is our second wedding anniversary. I think it has brought home the idea that we are soon to be four, and that our lives have changed beyond imagination in these two years. I think we are both having slight doubts about whether we were ready for another baby so soon, although we are both pleased. I have found that with this pregnancy being planned, I feel more responsible for getting our lives right before the baby is born. I have also found that this pregnancy is less exciting than the last, just because I have been there before. Anyway to celebrate Karl and I are going to the cinema together for the first time in ages, whilst Matthew is at nursery, and then we are all going out for a meal together.

My birthday... I am 23 years old! (I can hardly believe it) And I've started feeling my baby kicking! I have felt odd movements for the last couple of weeks, now they are real kicks. I had been worried because Matthew kicked so much I started feeling him at 14 weeks and by 18 weeks Karl could feel the kicks too - I'm 18 weeks now. Feeling the baby move has helped me begin to bond with it, and that excitement is begining to return at last!
