| If I could instill one thing in a child... I would pass on (not that I'm having children anyway) the ability to believe in one's self. A self-esteem kind of thing, if you will. I would want my hypothetical child to be able to stand tall and strong in the face of adversity...and be able to stare it down knowing he/she is right. But, along w/ that, my hypothetical child would have to also have the intelligence to admit and recognize when he or she is wrong...or when it's just a losing battle. And then be able to back off graciously, but with their own opinions and beliefs still intact. -Suspiria |
