Sheena & Tony Mawdsley have owned and shown Bloodhounds since 1993. To date they have had a successful campaign with all their dogs . With numerous Best of Breeds, Challenges and Best in Groups. Holly , Grover , and Beebee are all Australian Champions, with Humphrey very close as well.To date we have had one litter with two pups (Starsky & Hutch ) who are now 14 weeks old and will debut in the show ring on 31/1/99. Both Grover and Humphrey are being used successfully as stud dogs.





In 1993 Tony & Sheena Mawdsley set up their first mobile dog grooming service (Klean K-9).Being total Dog lovers it was their destiny to work with dogs all around their suburbs .Another trailer has been built and ready for the right person to come along and join in their success. After recieving countless requests to provide a boarding facility, in November 1995 they moved into Tea Tree Gully Boarding Kennels & Cattery and haven't looked back .

In three years we have done alot to make it more comfortable for our clients , by getting rid of cages that had previously housed cats, and instead having large rooms that have cupboards and other furniture so the cats feel more at home and are not resticted. We have also insulated the indoor area for the small dogs and installed reverse cycle air-conditioning so the temperature is ideal all year round. Our next project for this year is to give all the big dogs individual runs, at the moment they have a small run and go into exercise yards 4-5 times a day. We have a lot of work to do, as the kennels were pretty run down when we took over, but it will all get done as time and money permit. Our aim is to make Tea Tree Gully Kennels and Cattery the best in the State, in the not too distant future.
