Like countless others Robin is an adoptee who is searching for her past. Please take a few minutes and read over this information. If any of it sounds familiar to you please Contact Us.
On February 15th, 1968 a beautiful child was born in a hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She was a healthy baby girl that weighed 6lbs 0oz and was 20" long. A name was given to her, that name was Sharon Louise. Born to parents who were unable to care for her, she was put up for adoption.
It didn't take long before she was placed into a loving adoptive home. This happened on March 22, 1968 but the adoption was never legalized. In this home, Sharon Louise's name was changed to Sandy. Unfortuanately there were problems in the marriage and the parents seperated. Sadly, on January 2nd, 1971, with a bag of lollypops in her tiny hands, Sandy was removed from the care of the only mother she ever knew. She was nearly 3yrs old.
The wisdom of the Edmonton Court system felt it necessary for Sandy to live outside of Edmonton. A placement was made on short notice and an innocent little girl with a doll tucked lovingly in her arm boarded an airplane that was to land in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was there that Sandy would finally be adopted on October 10th, 1972. Her name was once again changed...to Robin.
