Ancestral Home of the MacArans

Falconsward is the ancestral home of the MacArans. For centuries, this has been the center of the training of animals such as dogs, horses, and hunting birds. Generations of MacArans have made Falconsward one of the most beloved residences on Darkover.

The MacAran family has long been associated with the other major families of the Aldaran Domain--Aldaran, Scathfell, Storn, and Delleray--as well as other families in the Seven Domains. Their particular Gift or donas is communication with animals. Even today, the MacArans are renowned for their training of hunting birds.
