Halstad: Village at the Crossroads


On the road between Carcosa and Hali, many travelers stop over in Halstad, especially in the winter, when travel is difficult throughout Darkover.


While the village gained notoriety during the time immediately after the death of Regis Hastur, today it is a sleepy hamlet with a few inns. Visitors will find a warm Darkovan welcome, even if the accomodations are not luxurious. Currently, 160 villagers live in Halstad.
